Ilyse A. Wofse, Esq., is the Associate Dean for Student Academic and Bar Success at 51´«Ã½ÔÚÏßÊÓÆµ, where she leads the School’s comprehensive framework for student achievement and oversees the Office of Academic and Bar Success Initiatives in providing individualized counseling, intensive workshops, and strategic mentoring.

A recognized expert with more than 25 years of experience in bar preparation, Dean Wofse leads institutional initiatives to ensure student success, drawing on a career of guiding thousands of law graduates to pass the bar exam. Dean Wofse advises students on the various law licensing exams, Non-Standard Testing Accommodations, and Attorney Admission paperwork, and leads the team of Bar Support faculty who deliver Bar Courses to 51´«Ã½ÔÚÏßÊÓÆµ students as well as recent alumni studying for the bar exam.

As a member of the Law School’s senior leadership team, Dean Wofse contributes to institutional strategic planning and the advancement of the School’s mission to prepare students for the rigors of the profession. Her work centers on ensuring that 51´«Ã½ÔÚÏßÊÓÆµ graduates have developed the skills and doctrinal foundation necessary to excel on the bar exam. Dean Wofse is dedicated to the Law School's transition to the NextGen Uniform Bar Exam, which includes efforts to align law school assessments and doctrinal learning with the evolving skills and knowledge required for modern licensure. She remains deeply engaged in the classroom, teaching 51´«Ã½ÔÚÏßÊÓÆµâ€™s specialized bar courses that bridge the gap between academic theory and practical analytical skills to students in their final year of law school.

Prior to joining 51´«Ã½ÔÚÏßÊÓÆµ in 2023, Dean Wofse held senior leadership roles at multiple national bar review firms, including National Director for Firm Initiatives and Senior Director for the Northeast at Themis Bar Review and Northeast Regional Associate Director and Director of Legal Education at BARBRI. Her work in the field included developing academic and bar support programs, training faculty to assess bar exam writing for essays and performance tests, teaching bar exam writing, and guiding thousands of law graduates to a law license.

Dean Wofse currently serves on the Board of the Northeast Consortium of Academic Support Professionals (NECASP), and she has worked as an Adjunct Professor in Bar Support at St. John's Law, Hofstra Law, and the University of New Hampshire Law, and as a Bar Exam Consultant at Touro Law Center. Dean Wofse holds a B.A. in English Literature and Spanish Literature from Binghamton University and a J.D. from Albany Law School.
